Jerzy Mastalerczyk, Broker

Masta Group

When Jerzy Mastalerczyk earned his real estate license three years ago, he was not only indulging a passion but also following a family tradition. First immersed in the industry 30 years ago through his family’s real estate business, he’s spent most of his life learning by doing and by observing what goes on behind the scenes of a residential real estate transaction.

Mastalerczyk started out by serving buyers seeking single-family homes and condos, with his first listing near the city’s Bucktown neighborhood. “Seeing the transaction from start to finish and being able to help a family make one of the most important decisions of their lives is very rewarding,” he says. As the founder of Masta Group at Compass, Mastalerczyk has since expanded his client base to include sellers, investors and developers throughout northwest Chicagoland and the suburbs.

Thanks to his recent transition to Compass, Mastalerczyk now has access to a full array of concierge services and exclusive technology to not only grow his business but also better assist his clients. Coming from past careers in sales and IT consulting, he has devoted nearly two decades to matching his clients’ specific needs with individualized solutions. “The training and support that I have received from previous jobs, along with my firsthand real estate experience, has equipped me to serve my community,” he explains, adding that his professional background has made him a better listener and communicator. “My clients can reach me from early morning to late evening and on weekends.”

In 2018, Mastalerczyk and his wife, Martyna, welcomed their first child. “Becoming a parent has brought a whole new perspective to not only my personal life but also how I view potential properties for my clients who are ready to have their own families,” he says.

Mastalerczyk is a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors and is fluent in English and Polish. He loves the outdoors and hikes or spends time on the beach as often as possible.
