Andy Tisler grew up in a Romanian community on the north side of Chicago, where the people around him worked hard for a better life. Tisler learned that buying a home was the ultimate milestone, and now he gets to help people reach this goal every day.
As senior home lending advisor for Chase, Tisler loves to work with first-time buyers, helping them navigate what can be a particularly tricky process for those new to it. He also works with growing families who need bigger homes, as well as clients hoping to refinance. Tisler has closed more than 1,000 loans throughout his seven years at Chase, and he thrives when exposed to complex scenarios. “I love that each client I work with has unique circumstances, which keeps my job interesting and fun,” he says.
Over the past four years, Chase has consistently named Tisler its No. 1 home lending advisor nationwide. In that time period, Tisler has closed more than $350 million in mortgage volume. Having earned a bachelor’s degree in finance, Tisler is equipped to deal with difficult numbers while making the experience more transparent for his clients. “I love taking the time to explain and simplify the process. It’s important to do it in a friendly and approachable way,” he says.
For him, the process has always been simple — by staying ahead in communication, providing valuable advice and addressing clients with openness and kindness, Tisler has been able to be a trustworthy source for everyone he works with. For this reason, clients recognize him as a true professional.
Chase has awarded Tisler with President’s Club honors for the past four years. He was also a finalist for Loan Officer of the Year in Chicago Agent magazine’s Agents’ Choice Awards in 2018. He is both a member and sponsor of the Chicago Association of Realtors’ Young Professionals Network.
When he’s not working, Tisler loves spending time with his wife, Andrea, and sons, Camden, 5, and Theo, 2. The family enjoys being active together and traveling whenever possible.
