With a passion for purpose, Lisa Petrik goes above and beyond the call of Realtor and connects with her clients to thoroughly and efficiently get them the best deal possible. Purchasing a home can be a daunting and challenging experience, especially for first-time buyers. Petrik, a Realtor with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, works with a wide spectrum of clientele, helping them to feel comfortable and secure throughout each stage of the homebuying process. From luxury homes to smaller investment opportunities, Petrik loves all things real estate.
Petrik earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Elmhurst College, an associate’s degree in air traffic control from Lewis University, and a certification in psychotherapy. After 14 years at a newspaper, she wanted a career that allowed her to educate people. Since beginning a career in real estate four years ago, Petrik has loved the opportunity to assist clients during one of the largest investments of their lives. “I was looking for something with more excitement,” she says. “Helping people find their home feels so rewarding. I am a home matchmaker. I get to know my clients on a real genuine level. I want them comfortable and feeling like they are doing the best thing for themselves.”
In 2017, Petrik’s biggest professional accomplishment was doubling her business from 2016. She’s currently building her team and aims to double her sales once again. Clients often describe her as a professional who consistently asks the right questions, and she always makes an effort to get to know each client in order to find the best fit for them. “My job as a Realtor is to guide and lead with expertise,” she says. “I make sure to go above and beyond your expectations.”
Petrik has earned recognition this year as a Top 30 Producer for Jameson Sotheby’s and a 2017 Top Producer by the Chicago Association of Realtors. She is secretary of the board for the nonprofit River North Business Association, a member of the development committee for the River North Residents Association and secretary of the board for the nonprofit River North Clean Streets.
When she’s not working, Petrik enjoys spending quality time with her mother, who recently beat stage 4 breast cancer. She is a huge animal lover and has two dogs: Ms. Zoey and Mr. Joey.
