As an area lending manager at Citibank, Fauth works with people ranging from first-time homebuyers to high-net-worth individuals. He’s seen many changes over his 24 years in the real estate industry — but the key to his success remains the same. He believes in having an open line of communication, he says, and gives each client his utmost respect. “Our industry continues to transform. I’m most proud of my ability to lead through change and drive performance of a highly dedicated sales team,” he says. “Effective communication is key to any professional’s success regardless of industry. As such, explaining the ‘why’ behind the ‘what’ is critical in our ever-changing industry, and one that I ensure is consistently conveyed.”
Throughout his career, Fauth has been consistently recognized for his efforts. He is an eight-time winner of Citibank’s Leaders of Excellence of Award, which honors the top 1 percent of Citibank’s North America consumer bank employees. He’s also a member of the Asian Real Estate Association of America, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, the National Association of Realtors and the Chicago Association of Realtors.
Last year, Citibank ranked No. 2 in the mortgage origination experience in the J.D. Power’s Mortgage Origination Survey, and Fauth’s team in Chicago was one of the leading contributors to that success, with a consistently exceptional average net promoter score. In an ever-changing industry, Fauth’s clients rely on him to provide valuable support and guidance. “Our clients and business colleagues know we are committed to their needs and goals, and this is exemplified in our industry-leading customer satisfaction results,” he says.
In his spare time, Fauth enjoys spending time with his family and coaching his daughter’s soccer and basketball teams. He also volunteers with the March of Dimes and the American Bankers Association’s Teach the Children to Save initiative.
