Andre T. Mitchell understands Generation Y first-hand. After all, he, too, is a Millennial, and his vibrancy, confidence and exuberance make him the ideal Realtor to meet this population’s needs. But while he specializes in partnering with these buyers who are frequently purchasing their first home, his experience enables him to just as easily support everyone from savvy investors to downsizing Baby Boomers. As Mitchell explains, “I’ve learned to appreciate each client’s perspective so that I can create the right plan to make his real estate dream a reality.”
Having entered property management after completing his undergraduate studies, Mitchell served as Director of Leasing and Marketing at one of the city’s most prestigious companies. The experience allowed him to witness how marketing translates to residential occupancy even as he increasingly understood the role that he and his team of leasing agents played in the process. “I realized that I had a true passion for real estate. Teaching my team how to market and strategize to achieve our goals gave me the courage to know that I could do this full-time as a Realtor,” he says.
Co-founder of The Dream Team, the first team formed at Baird & Warner’s Frankfort office, Mitchell possesses a Master of Business Administration and is particularly skilled in educating his clients about what to expect during a real estate transaction. But rather than simply getting to know them, Mitchell wants his clients to get to know him, too, so that they feel confident in his capable hands. “I understand that buying or selling a house can be a stressful process, but it’s much easier when you have someone you trust on your side.” The fact that more than 90 percent of his business is referral- based proves that his strategy works even as it continuously motivates him to deliver the best service he can.
Named among the top 1 percent of agents in the Frankfort office for volume and units in 2014, his first year in full-time sales, Mitchell also placed among the top 5 percent of Realtors companywide for units. In addition, he received recognition in the Baird & Warner Vice President’s Club. He credits his parents and family with instilling a strong work ethic and integrity within him, characteristics that are no doubt why this real estate newcomer has achieved such success in an industry in which he is already making his mark.
