My clothes are pretty conservative, so I like my coats to be somewhat fashion forward.
If I have client appointments, I will go with a very simple and professional look. If I don’t have appointments, you will find me in jeans, t-shirt and my Chucks.
Sometimes I see something that I think “What???” and then wear it a week later. You never know!
I feel that everyone has their own individual style. This is one of the reasons why I love Chicago so much. You can literally go out wearing whatever. However, for real estate agents, don’t leave the house looking like you just left the bar at 4 a.m. (And if you did, fake it!)
Little did I realize that the Louboutins I ran out with were too tall for me at 120mm. I teetered around unable to dance (or walk) the whole evening.
I grew up in a family that always pushed the importance of looking your best. I tried the daily suit and tie look for a bit and realized it just wasn’t me. I didn’t feel like myself and others probably saw that too.
I’m a big fan of pattern socks. They’re easy to pair with work suits or jeans while showing off your personality.
Always wear a belt. You need to transition your body from top to bottom.
Whether it be a pocket square, fun tie, or cool shoes, I like having one thing that stands out and separates my outfit from others.
I feel that a fabulous handbag and a great pair of shoes really finishes a look and shows a sense of style.
