RE/MAX Premier has brought on Chicago real estate veteran Darlene Little as senior vice president and designated managing broker for its city offices.
The addition comes on the heels of the brokerage’s acquisition of five Compass locations in the North Shore. In an announcement, RE/MAX Premier Founder and CEO Janice Corley said Little’s hiring will allow her to concentrate on her corporate-level responsibilities.
“Darlene’s depth of experience and unwavering commitment to agent development make her the perfect partner to guide our city offices,” Corley said. “This transition allows me to focus on continuing to expand our footprint and driving innovation for the future, while ensuring our agents benefit from daily access to one of the most respected leaders in Chicago real estate.”
Little has been involved in Chicago real estate for over 30 years. She most recently served as vice president and designated managing broker of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago, a position she held for 13 years. Before that, she spent more than 10 years as executive vice president and managing broker of Rubloff Residential Properties.
Over the course of her career, Little has led offices across Chicago’s Gold Coast, Lincoln Park and Lakeview neighborhoods, coaching and recruiting hundreds of top-producing agents and overseeing more than $1 billion in residential sales. She began her management career at Beliard Gordon & Partners, which now operates as part of RE/MAX Premier.
Little is a past president of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® and has held leadership roles with Illinois REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. She’s been recognized by CAR as Realtor of the year and best managing broker for large offices. Outside of work, she volunteers with Misericordia and the Special Olympics and lives in Lincoln Park.
