Debbie Prodehl, broker-owner and director of risk management for Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin, has been installed as the 2027 president of Illinois REALTORS®.
Prodehl, AHWD, C2EX, has worked in her family’s real estate business since 1991. She spent her first 15 years working with buyers and sellers before moving into leadership roles.
Prodehl previously served as president of the Three Rivers Association of REALTORS®, where she was also recognized as its 2016 REALTOR® of the Year. She is now active with the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® and has held several terms on its board of directors.
Prodehl has held a number of leadership positions with Illinois REALTORS®, including service on several committees. She has chaired the Finance Committee and served two terms as chair of both the Illinois General Assembly and Statewide Independent Expenditures Committee and the Business Issues/License Law Forum Committee. She has also served multiple terms on the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors and completed the organization’s Leadership Development Program in 2017.
Prodehl has also been active with the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC), earning a spot in the organization’s Hall of Fame in 2019. Two years earlier, she received the Presidential Medallion recognizing her contributions to Illinois REALTORS®.
Her national leadership experience includes chairing the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Regulatory Issues Forum in 2024. She has also served on NAR’s Public Policy Coordinating Committee, Membership Policy and Board Jurisdiction Committee, Federal Technology Policy Committee and Broker Involvement Council, as well as multiple terms on the NAR Board of Directors.
Prodehl is a member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and the Asian Real Estate Association of America.
