When it comes to buying and selling, Lyn Harvie leaves nothing up to fate. “My ability to work through problems and difficult situations while maintaining a clear perspective really helps me to be successful,” says Harvie, a broker with Baird & Warner.
Harvie serves investors, buyers and sellers who are looking to upsize or downsize from a suburban home to a city residence. “No matter what the scenario, I pride myself on providing an exceptional experience and top-notch service to all of my clients,” she says. “My clients know that our relationship extends far beyond the closing table and that I will continue to serve as a resource for them on anything real estate-related.”
Known for her straightforward demeanor and ability to anticipate and prevent problems throughout the process, Harvie educates her clients so that they feel fully informed and confident in their final decisions. “The best compliment is when a client tells you that there were no surprises and that the transaction progressed in the exact way, I had prepared them for,” she says.
Last year, Harvie’s business grew 75 percent, thanks to referrals and support from her friends, family and previous clients. Harvie credits her “methodical and systematic approach to every transaction” for allowing her to grow her business without compromising on client experience and service. The Chicago Association of Realtors named her a Top Producer in 2018, and Baird & Warner has welcomed her into its Founders Club.
Harvie serves as the associate board co-chair for Housing Opportunities for Women and is also a member of the Junior League of Chicago.
