With 40 years in real estate, Pattie Murray has experience working with both buyers and sellers in all stages of life. A broker with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group, Murray helps clients throughout Greater Chicagoland, focusing specifically on the DuPage County, Glen Ellyn and Wheaton markets.
Beyond her many years in the industry, Murray brings an impressive skill set to her clients; among them formal training as a luxury and staging specialist, an MBA, a law degree and a unique understanding of the market, having gone through the process of building a home several times. This year, she added another noteworthy attribute to her résumé when she was admitted to practice law before the United States Supreme Court.
For Murray, the past year was also one of great sales accomplishment as she listed and closed the largest value listing in Glen Ellyn at $2.075 million. Meanwhile, her highest buyer sale was $1.8 million. No matter the property type, Murray offers her clients full and thorough real estate service, with many years of experience in both sides of luxury sales, new construction, and property management and investing. “Many clients comment about my attention to detail, teamwork, clarity in discussing the real estate process, and practically 24-7 availability via text, email and phone call.”
Murray credits her networking capability and large sphere of contacts to the fact that she is often able to sell a home without relying on the MLS or weeks of showings. When it comes to marketing a property, she encourages the use of social media and recognizes its significance in her continued real estate success. “Social media is where it’s at!” Murray has a large sphere of contacts from her 40-plus years of experience, and her connections with the bar association and the bank board on which she serves.
Murray is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, the Wintrust Board of Directors and the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors. She also finds time to give support to the Young Men’s Educational Network, serving the youth of Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood, and the Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare Society, providing multiple family services throughout DuPage County, as well as Bridge Communities.
Murray’s pastimes include world travel, tennis and weekends at her home in Lake Geneva. During baseball season, you can find her cheering on the Chicago Cubs.
