Emily McClintock, Real Estate Broker

Baird & Warner

For Emily McClintock, who studied business and marketing in college, a career in real estate was a natural next step. She went straight to work after graduation, and as the youngest agent at her first office,, she soaked up all the knowledge she could from the senior brokers who mentored her and helped her learn the business. “They instilled an etiquette that I respect to this day,” she remembers.

With an interest in architecture and design and a special affinity for the beautiful homes of the North Shore, McClintock has made that area her specialty. She has lived and worked on the North Shore for 30 years and now loves nothing more than helping other families achieve the same dream. “I have raised my children here and navigated the school systems, camps and extracurriculars,” she says. “I am living the lifestyle my clients are looking for, so it is second nature to help them navigate their move.”

McClintock’s three decades in the business have given her a calm, reassuring style and a deep knowledge that her clients appreciate. “I have seen the real estate market and economy through many ups and downs, which has given me a unique perspective,” she says.

Helping others brings McClintock her greatest rewards, like last year when she helped a senior couple downsize, assisting with every detail of the major move. “I helped them move from their sizable home, full of furniture and belongings from more than 40 years there, into an easier living situation in a market that had little to offer them in terms of a suitable place,” McClintock shares. “Seeing them in their new place, happy and comfortable, was so rewarding to me. I felt I used all my experience, resources and knowledge from all these years in the business. It brought out the best in me.”

Away from real estate, McClintock enjoys running, art, travel and is learning to play golf.
