Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty has announced the addition of two agents to its North Shore offices: Elizabeth de Wet in Lake Forest and Martin Vehlow in Evanston.
De Wet joins the firm’s Lake Forest office, bringing a background in marketing, commercial leadership, corporate strategy and project management. She works with buyers and sellers across Chicago’s North Shore and focuses on aligning real estate strategies with clients’ lifestyle needs and goals. Her approach emphasizes listening, timely communication and guiding clients through each stage of the transaction.
“To me, real estate is about thoughtful alignment, empathy and trusted partnership,” de Wet said. “I am pleased to align with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, whose international perspective and exceptional local reach reflect my own journey from the UK to the U.S. With a background in marketing and commercial leadership, and extensive experience advising luxury real estate clients across Chicago’s North Shore, I take a strategic, insight-driven approach to understanding my clients’ objectives and executing with precision. Deeply connected to the Lake Forest community, I’m proud to be an integral part of the place I serve.”
Vehlow has joined the brokerage’s Evanston office, serving buyers and sellers throughout Lake County and Chicago’s northern suburbs. A lifelong Lake County resident, he has been licensed since 2019 and has closed more than 100 transactions. He has ranked in the top 5% of Chicagoland agents for the past four years.
Vehlow works with a range of clients, including first-time buyers, luxury lakefront purchasers, relocation clients, investors and VA loan borrowers. A Real Estate Negotiation Expert, he provides guidance on construction quality, property condition and potential risk factors.
“Joining Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty strengthens my ability to serve buyers and sellers across Chicago’s Northwest suburbs,” Vehlow said. “The brand’s global reach, strong local leadership and elevated marketing support the relationship-driven approach that has always defined my business.”
Outside of real estate, Vehlow volunteers at his church in Grayslake and spends time with his wife and four daughters.
