On Sept. 4, the North Shore-Barrington Association of REALTORS® held a black-tie induction ceremony at Ravinia Tree Top. Between 150 and 175 people attended.

At the event, Ethan Nagar of Jameson Sotheby’s International was installed as president. He replaces Immediate Past President Luigui Corral, of RE/MAX American Dream. Meanwhile, Rafay Qamar, of Real Broker LLC is the new president-elect, and Shannon Johnson, of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago, is the new secretary-treasurer.

There was also change on the Board of Directors. Debbie Hymen of COMPASS, Timothy Littleton of Kale Realty and Arnold Samotny of ABS Realty Partners LLC all joined for the first year of two-year terms. At the same time, Joe Gerber of Coldwell Banker Residential, Kelly Ipjian of EXIT Strategy Realty and Adam Max of COMPASS begin their second years on the board.
