Shaughnessy Rice was named vice president of mortgage lending for Guaranteed Rate in Illinois and will be based in Champaign, according to a press release. 

Rice has 24 year of experience in the mortgage lending business and has assisted thousands of clients in securing mortgages.

“Shaughnessy is a great addition to the Guaranteed Rate team,” Greg Griffin, a senior vice president of strategic growth for Guaranteed Rate, said in the press release. “Hiring talented loan originators like Shaughnessy, who understand their unique local markets, is key to Guaranteed Rate’s continued and momentous growth.”

Rice joins Guaranteed Rate with 24 years of mortgage lending experience and has assisted thousands of clients, from first-time home buyers to seasoned owners. He will support Guaranteed Rate in building meaningful relationships with borrowers and business partners throughout Illinois.
