The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals installed Joseph Nery as 2016 president at their Housing Policy & Hispanic Lending Conference.

Gary Acosta, NAREP CEO and co-founder, spoke highly of Nery.

“Through his practice, Joe has helped countless individuals achieve the dream of homeownership and begin down the path toward wealth building,” Acosta said, “His expertise and leadership will help us accomplish the ambitious goals we’ve laid out for the organization.”

Nery previously served as secretary on NAHREP’s National Board of Directors, and has also served at a local level as president of the NAHREP Chicago chapter board. He is a partner at Nery & Richardson LLC, a law firm with a primary focus on real estate.

“I’m honored to lead the organization during this critical time in its growth,” Nery said of his new position. “NAHREP is the industry benchmark for Hispanic professionals in the housing industry and is quickly becoming recognized as the authority on economic empowerment issues.”
