number one (first) rankings top 10 tenAs stated in our cover story, one of the main benefits of joining a Realtor association is to access the multiple listing service (MLS). Though syndication sites such as Trulia and Zillow, and online brokerages such as Redfin, offer capabilities similar to the MLS, none can compare to the accuracy of an official MLS.

We have listed the top 10 associations and MLS in the U.S., based on membership. MORe and CAR rank fourth and sixth, respectively; Chicagoland’s MLS, Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED), ranks third:

California Regional MLS: 68,000 members (Merged with SoCalMLS, Southern California’s MLS)
