New Additions to Midwest Real Estate Data’s Search System

by Chicago Agent

Midwest Real Estate Data, LLC (MRED) updated their connectMLS system by adding more data fields to the search options giving agents the ability to narrow the results.

According to MRED’s press release, agents can now search for ranges of price increase, decrease or both as a percentage of the original list price or previous list price. There is also a new feature that allows users to add results to a custom report; this includes colored arrows representing price increases or decreases, making it easier to read.

Other detailed improvements were added to the database, including 40 new descriptions available for photo captions, and better readability with maps, including a “bird’s eye view” option.

MRED CEO Russ Bergeron explains that while the company constantly strives to improve connectMLS, it is careful with new additions and changes.

“We cannot constantly make changes, as our customers need consistency in the system to be most effective in serving their clients. So when we do make modifications, we are careful in what we choose to do,” Bergeron said. “It is gratifying to make adjustments that turn out to be as well used and universally beneficial as these are to our brokers, agents and appraisers.”
