Themis Katris is the founder and managing attorney of The Katris Law Group, a practice focused on residential and commercial real estate transactions throughout Chicagoland. Since the start of his career in a high-volume real estate law firm, he developed a reputation for moving quickly, thinking critically and performing under pressure with professionalism and composure.
Over the course of his career, Themis has successfully guided clients through more than 4,000 real estate transactions. Known for his hands-on approach, he remains personally involved from contract to closing, ensuring clients receive direct attorney guidance, strategic counsel and responsive communication at every stage.
“My father taught me the ins and outs of real estate when I was young,” Themis says. “I pursued the legal side so I could help him later in life. Then I discovered how much I truly loved the work itself.”

When he’s not closing deals or advocating for clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two young sons. He coaches his sons’ soccer teams and loves to travel with his family to Greece, Florida and Door County — a family favorite.
