With every transaction, Sara O’Connor partners with real estate professionals to help them navigate transactions smoothly. “I am here to help you build your business and partner with you throughout the process,” says O’Connor, vice president of commercial and residential sales at Greater Illinois Title Company. “I understand that every transaction is different, and I strive to make the process as painless as possible.”
Consistently a multimillion-dollar producer at her company, O’Connor has 25 years of experience in real estate, serving both the Chicagoland market and the nation as a whole with a focus on new-construction, multifamily, commercial, residential and renewable-energy transactions. She started the renewable energy department at Greater Illinois Title Company three years ago and has single-handedly secured approximately $2 billion in transactions.
Because she works with a wide variety of clients, O’Connor knows communication is the key to a successful relationship. By simply getting to know her clients and their unique needs, she’s been able to assist them in many facets of their businesses and lives. “If we are on the same page through understanding, we are in great shape for success,” she says. “I believe in building genuine, long-lasting relationships and connecting my referral partners to others to help them grow. That is my passion.”
She does it all while caring for her daughter, Nora, who was born three-and-a-half months early. “She is a miracle and feisty, like me,” O’Connor shares. “I am so proud of her and lucky to be her mom. She has provided me strength to take one day at a time and showed me there are no limits to what I can accomplish.”
To give back, O’Connor sits on the executive committee of the board of directors at the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation, which supports cancer research and real estate mentorships. She also served in 2024 as co-chair of the foundation’s annual Eisenopoly fundraiser.
