Maureen Burns, a full-time broker with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate, is driven by her passion for exceeding clients’ expectations. Her successful real estate record is a direct result of the many long-term relationships she has built over the past 15 years.
Since real estate is a relationship-based business, Burns prides herself on the number of referrals she receives. The close-knit, trusting relationships she has created with numerous clients have led them to work with her repeatedly. At the same time, she has developed deep relationships with her fellow agents, priding herself on face-to-face meetings rather than relying on lockboxes.
A few years ago, Burns expanded her expertise by becoming licensed in Northwest Indiana. With family ties to the area dating back to the early 1900s, it was an easy decision for her to offer her Indiana clients the same professionalism and dedication that have defined her career. In addition, she recently became licensed in Southwest Michigan, serving clients in South Haven in particular. She works alongside her fellow agents at both the Highland and St. Joseph offices.
Burns’ goal is to make the real estate journey as smooth as possible for her clients. She draws upon her industry knowledge, experience and fierce loyalty to help clients navigate the market. Her success has earned her industry recognition, including the @properties Road to Rolex award.
Burns is a graduate of Indiana University and has lived in Los Angeles, New York, Iowa City, Florida and Chicago. Outside of real estate, she is a self-described tennis fanatic and has been a long-standing member of the Midtown Athletic Club. Additionally, she studied at the Institute of Culinary Education’s Natural Gourmet Center, earning credentials as a trained vegan chef. She is currently a Gold Coast resident.
