Growing up in her father’s orbit meant dinnertime cheers when he sold a house, the scratch of a Dictaphone in the background and a front-row seat to what a career built on hustle and relationships could look like. Marybeth Fallico Durkin absorbed all of it. Her father ran Fallico & Associates Real Estate for more than 30 years, and living in the city, she knew her journey would start with commercial real estate research in downtown Chicago.
Starting in 2001, those four years as a research analyst gave Fallico Durkin an unusually rigorous foundation. She studied absorption rates, zoning and tenant rosters across every building, later moving on to residential and commercial sales. She drove for hours through suburbs and city streets alike, narrating what she saw into a tape recorder, cataloguing parks, home styles, landmarks and price points until the markets became second nature. Twenty-five years later, she’s a senior real estate broker on the GetBurbed team at @properties Christie’s International Real Estate, serving buyers and sellers across Arlington Heights, Barrington, Inverness, Palatine, Long Grove, Buffalo Grove, Mt. Prospect, Schaumburg and Park Ridge.
After her recent switch to the GetBurbed team at @properties, Fallico Durkin received @properties’ Timeless Award for surpassing $10 million in sales in 2025. She has been a top individual producer year after year, with over $200 million in sales and over 400 transactions. Her clients describe her as calm, accessible and easy to work with. About 80% of her business comes from referrals and repeat clients.
She volunteers with Feed My Starving Children and has supported A Better Life for Kids as a donor and sponsor for many years. When she is not working and volunteering her time, she can be found gardening and enjoying her Wisconsin cabin with her husband and son.
