This year marks a meaningful milestone for Lori Rowe. It’s her 40th year in real estate. “As I look back on my career, it’s shaped by relationships, resilience and a willingness to evolve,” she says. “I remain as committed as ever — not just to the business, but to the people at the center of it.”
A residential real estate broker with Coldwell Banker Realty, Rowe is the team lead of The Lori Rowe Team. Reflecting on what the industry looked like when she began in 1986, she remembers taking photos with a film camera, hand drawing mailers, installing her own signs and picking up keys in person to show homes. “It was definitely hands-on in every sense,” she shares. “That foundation continues to influence how I approach work today.”
With business guided by social media, video and constant content creation, Rowe is taking on the challenge of creating 40 videos to commemorate her career. “What began as a professional exercise became something much more personal,” she shares. “Through these videos, I’ve shared stories about my experiences, the lessons I’ve learned and the people who have shaped my career.” One moment in particular that stands out is when, while reviewing her client history, she realized that one family completed 19 transactions with her over the years. Many others also worked with her numerous times over years. “That stopped me in my tracks,” she remembers. “It’s incredibly humbling.”
Being part of her clients’ lives, often across multiple moves, life stages and generations, has become Rowe’s true purpose. She also reflects on the deep connections she’s built within the real estate community. “There’s a bond that’s hard to describe,” she says. “We’ve been through a lot together, and through it all, we’ve stayed focused on doing right by our clients.”
