The youngest of nine siblings in a blended family, Kassie Houlihan learned early the value of relationships, community and making people feel welcome. Growing up around her parents’ successful business, Programmers Investment Corporation, she saw firsthand how trust, authenticity and genuine connection create lasting success. Those lessons continue to shape her approach to real estate today.
A broker with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate, Houlihan serves clients throughout Chicago and the northwest suburbs, with particular expertise in Wildwood, Edgebrook and Sauganash. In addition, she works extensively in Lincoln Park, Lakeview, the Gold Coast, Arlington Heights, Barrington and Palatine, and recently expanded her business into Indiana. A former Spanish teacher and project manager, she brings an educator’s mindset to every transaction, helping clients understand the process, navigate challenges and make confident decisions.
Known for her concierge-level service, strategic thinking and calm guidance, Houlihan has built her business almost entirely through referrals and repeat clients. In 2023, she received the @properties Timeless Award. One of her recent career highlights was representing a $3.3 million private exclusive listing that sold at asking price, allowing her client to avoid the expense and disruption of a public market launch.
Houlihan recently launched Team Houlihan, a collaborative group of women professionals who share her commitment to relationship-driven service and client advocacy. Additionally, she serves as board president of Visions Foundation Chicago, which supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
A longtime Chicagoan and Wildwood resident, Houlihan enjoys antiquing, roller skating, tennis, pickleball, hiking and camping with her husband and three children. She is passionate about bringing people together and creating a sense of home, both in her personal life and throughout her real estate career.
