The son of immigrant parents, Javier Garcia is a first-generation Mexican American who began his finance career in 2001 at the age of 16. Starting as an assistant to a top-producing loan officer, he quickly rose through the ranks, eventually becoming the youngest senior vice president at The Federal Savings Bank. In May 2024, he was promoted to Midwest director of minority and Hispanic lending, where he led efforts to expand homeownership access in underserved communities.
In June 2025, Garcia joined Rate as senior vice president and producing branch manager, allowing him to apply his 24 years of lending expertise and deep commitment to mentorship, community service and financial empowerment. At Rate, he continues to support families, Realtors and mortgage professionals through his relationship-first, education-focused approach to lending.
Raised in Chicago and now living in Glenview, Garcia is known for his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. His leadership style is rooted in authenticity, humility and strategic execution — helping his clients and team members thrive in every market. “We win by being intentional — by really listening to what people need and tailoring our solutions accordingly,” he explains.
In 2024, Garcia married Leticia Andrade, a respected Chicago Realtor and his long-time partner in both life and business. Together, they lead Chicago Homeless Outreach, a grassroots initiative that serves the city’s unhoused population with dignity and compassion. Their shared mission extends beyond homeownership; they are driven to uplift lives through service, education and faith.
Garcia is a proud father, an active member of his local Realtor association and a dedicated advocate for financial literacy. His journey from a teenage assistant to a nationally recognized lending leader reflects his relentless work ethic, his love for people and his passion for creating generational impact — one family at a time.
