Believing that people enter his life for a reason and that everything occurs at the right time, CJ Jimenez credits his real estate career to a conversation he had with his friend Rudy Rada. “He’s a true friend who knew how much I needed a change,” Jimenez remembers. “He was with me during a very difficult time of my life, and I am so thankful that he encouraged me to try a new career.”

A licensed real estate broker and divorce real estate expert with Compass, Jimenez assists clients throughout Chicago, including the south and southwest suburbs. Born and raised in the city, he offers market expertise and valuable neighborhood insights to his clients.

Before his career in real estate, Jimenez spent 10 years in wireless retail, which he describes as a blessing in disguise. “If I can sell a cell phone at the mall, I can sell anything,” he says. “That experience sharpened my sales skills by teaching me how to overcome objections, approach people and close a sale. It made me the person I am today.”

Named a top producer by the Chicago Association of Realtors in 2024, Jimenez is known for his professionalism — from his appearance to the way he conducts business. “I’ve developed the necessary skills to succeed in this competitive market,” he explains. He acknowledges that working for Compass elevates him to the next level: “I love being the best and working with the best.”

An avid Cubs fan who considers Wrigley Field his second home, Jimenez also enjoys boxing. He met his wife, Sandra, through real estate, and they now have two children. “Real estate was the missing piece that shaped my entire life,” he shares. “I couldn’t have written a better script myself.”
