Chase Mortgage clients in the Macomb area know Kenneth Bean as a customer-first, knowledgeable lender who prioritizes availability to ensure that the borrowing experience imposes as little stress as possible. He values the trust that agents and borrowers place in him to get the job done for them.
A 16-year industry veteran, Bean is drawn to the solution-oriented aspect of the mortgage lending business. “I am very knowledgeable with mortgage guidelines and programs, as well as being an excellent problem-solver, he explains. “With both, I am able to find solutions to make sure we have a smooth process and experience.”
Like many Michiganders, Bean has a history working in the auto industry. He simultaneously attended college and earned his bachelor’s degree, a balancing act that he says taught him how to multitask, strengthened his communication skills and showed him the value of setting and achieving goals, both short- and long-term. Today, he applies these skills to his mortgage career, which he began soon after buying and selling his first home.
Bean, who primarily serves Chase customers but also enjoys referral business from agents and past clients, has earned Chase’s National Achiever award six years in a row. He thrives in a team environment and relishes every opportunity to share successes, ideas and motivation with his teammates. He is similarly fulfilled by serving his clients. “Not only do I get to find solutions with home lending,” Bean says, “but most importantly, I get to help people accomplish their home purchase or refinance goals.”
Running is his passion away from the office, and so far, Bean has completed eight marathons, the 2023 Chicago Marathon being his most memorable accomplishment. He has his sights set on time-qualifying for the Boston Marathon. Bean also enjoys traveling and being active outdoors with his wife and three sons.
