Susan Burklin, Broker

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate

Achieving top producer status is no surprise given Susan Burklin’s work ethic and background. “Professional, smart and savvy” are some of the words clients use to describe her. Having spent her childhood in Highland Park, Burklin loved the community so much, she raised her four children there, one of whom is now a Highland Park Police Officer. Even as an empty nester, Burklin remains loyal to the suburb she holds near and dear to her heart.  With deep connections and roots in the area, much of her business comes from people she has met along the way, or referrals from those who know her.

However, Burklin will be the first to say, that business is hard earned.  “Real estate is a competitive field and there are numerous agents who I go up against regularly who are outstanding at what they do,” she notes.

Burklin’s knowledge and understanding of the North Shore serves her well. Goal-oriented and data-driven, Burklin enjoys providing her clients the information they need to make confident choices. As a certified Real Estate Negotiation Expert, she has brought masterful business strategy to residential customers in the North Shore area for the past decade.

With a professional posture and project-manager mindset, Burklin provides an extensive marketing plan for sellers and takes care to pair her buyers with the best lenders. She maintains a strong social media presence, where her resourcefulness and dedication to her field is evident. During the pandemic, she took advantage of the strengths and weaknesses of the market to create success for her clients. Her accomplishments, despite the trying times, didn’t go unnoticed by @properties Christie’s International Real Estate: She was awarded the 2020 Road to Rolex honor for achieving the highest level of accomplishment within the firm. “This was something I strived towards,” says Burklin. “Opening that box was a huge moment for me.”

When she’s not helping her clients navigate their way to successful closings or welcoming new referrals, Burklin enjoys nice dinners with family and friends. “Quality time makes me very happy,” she says.
