Brad Lippitz, President

Brad Lippitz Group, COMPASS

An afficionado of all things Chicago, Brad Lippitz is proud of his real estate portfolio which includes “some of the coolest listings in the city.” The president of the Brad Lippitz Group at COMPASS, Lippitz specializes in architecturally distinctive properties, and serves his clients by keeping his finger on the pulse of his beloved home city. “As a native Chicagoan who never left, I have lived and loved this city for my entire life,” he explains. “I get the vibes of each neighborhood and each block in each neighborhood. I know the cool secret haunts, the festivals, the arts and sports. I get what makes the city special and how to navigate it when I work with both buyers and sellers.”

Lippitz’s background in law and nearly 30 years of real estate experience set him apart. “Even though I cannot represent my clients as their lawyer, my clients do benefit from my legal experience. No one can digest and negotiate a contract like I can,” he says. Clients appreciate Lippitz’s honesty and candor, too. “I never push a client into something that they don’t want or that is not in their best interest,” he insists. “I adapt to my clients and their needs. If they are analytical, I do spreadsheets. If they love design, I offer my ideas. If they are looking for the perfect place, I’m patient. If they need something quick, I’m aggressive.”

Modern Luxury/Chicago Social recently designated Lippitz as Chicago’s real estate icon.

Awarded its top platinum level of achievement by the Chicago Association of Realtors, Lippitz thanks his team for their dedication. “With cooperation, determination and commitment,” he shares, “we are here to help each other with a common goal: to effectively represent the interests of our client.”

Lippitz has long supported humanitarian organizations like the American Civil Liberties Union, Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, Human Rights Campaign and Center on Halsted. In his free time, he plays piano, writes and paints.
