Chloe Reynolds, Broker

COMPASS

When she began in real estate five years ago, Chloe Reynolds built her clientele and learned the West Side and River North markets by hosting open houses. Lots of open houses. After a while, she started noticing the same potential buyers circling the homes. They recognized her too, and she quickly established herself as the neighborhood expert, and earned their trust to assist them in purchasing their future home.

Today, whether a client is a first-time homeowner or a luxury buyer, they’re likely to comment on how much Reynolds cares. “My heart is in every transaction and my clients can feel that,” Reynolds says. As a result, her business is 100% repeat customers and referrals.

Having just hit her stride as an agent when the COVID-19 global pandemic hit, Reynolds is tuned in to how the pandemic experience has forever reshaped the way people look at their homes. “Having a home we love and feel comfortable in has never been more important,” she explains. “I think we all realized that when we were stuck at home in 2020. Even though rates doubled, the demand has stayed high and I think will continue to grow.”

For Reynolds, social media is an important marketing tool. “I love using Instagram for my business,” she says. “It’s a fantastic way to not only stay in touch with past clients, but also build relationships with other brokers. There are agents I have friendships with that I have never met in person. Social media is such a powerful tool.” In addition to her promotional skills, her clients count on her keen negotiating, which she honed during her previous career in corporate risk management.

As a member of the Women’s Council and President of the Chicago chapter of COMPASS Young Professionals, Reynolds hopes to mentor other young agents to follow her lead. “Being elected as COMPASS YP president has been such an honor,” Reynolds says. “I’m passionate about growing our young professional network and proud to be leading the charge here in Chicago.”

When she’s not representing clients, Reynolds enjoys cooking, biking and traveling. She visited over 40 cities and 8 countries last year.
