Experienced in the home-buying process, Morgan K. Sage asked all the right questions and helped advocate for her friends during their first home purchases. The agents—reveling at her savvy—would often recommend she seek a career in the field. Entrenched in the information technology sector at the time, it wouldn’t be until years later, in 2004, that she would obtain her license and start working in the industry.
Nearly two decades later, few agents can boast Sage’s unique talent: “I am allergic to mold and I can tell within minutes of entering a home if there is a mold problem … It’s like I am their personal mold detector,” she says. Currently Sage is the second-highest rated agent for downtown and Chicago’s North Side on Realtor.com, mold detection is just one of her many talents.
Sage is well-versed in the market’s nuances, school districts and up-and-coming neighborhoods. It has been said that people remember most how one makes them feel. In all of her positive reviews, it is her testimonials that describe her understanding of the emotions surrounding a home sale that are, perhaps, most notable.
Doubling down on videography as a selling tool during the pandemic, Sage rallied her team to create much-needed consistency for their clientele. She achieved a career high in 2022 with a home sale of more than $1.7 million and was recognized by her firm with their Chairman Circle Platinum Award for the third year in a row. She has also been recognized as a top producer by the Chicago Association of Realtors every year since 2008 and was formally inducted into her company’s Hall of Fame in 2019.
Sage was elated to have recently helped her mother celebrate her 75th birthday. She enjoys world travel and scuba diving, and looks forward to a trip to Hungary, Austria and Czech Republic planned for later this year.
