Katie Wells, Global Real Estate Advisor

Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty

Real estate is in Katie Wells’ DNA. “My family has their own commercial real estate brokerage,” explains Wells, global real estate advisor with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty in Chicago. “When I moved to Chicago and left my previous career as a flight attendant, I knew it was finally time to start my calling in real estate.”

Wells has never looked back. She not only fell in love with Chicago from the first day she moved to the area in 2016, “but I began to really love customer service,” she says. “Working with all walks of life and serving people from all over the world has helped me in real estate. It has taught me to always put my clients first, to be patient and to listen.”

Today, Wells’ real estate specialty is luxury service, and she has developed her own “luxury concierge” style that carries her unique signature. She provides “luxury from start to finish,” she says. “I offer a concierge-level service to give my clients the smoothest experience possible.” The level of service she provides begins before the first phone call. “My clients should feel as if they hardly need to lift a finger throughout the entire process,” she adds. “It’s my job to be one step ahead and make the entire transaction smooth and easy.”

Rooted in her from childhood was Wells’ passion for real estate. “I have studied real estate my whole life,” she says, “and I love keeping up with market trends, not only in Chicago but across the United States.” Maintaining a strong social media presence has helped her business, and she likes “being social.” She enjoys networking events and getting to know members of the community.

Wells also provides thoughtful closing gifts, another bonus that sets her apart from the competition. “I want to be that face someone can trust first before I ever mention anything business related,” Wells says. “The concierge service I provide is truly unique.”
