Inspired by her mother, whose first day as a Realtor was Laura Michicich’s first day of kindergarten, Michicich caught the real estate bug early. A Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago with 14 years of industry experience, Michicich serves buyers and sellers in the city and surrounding suburbs. “I work anywhere my clients take me,” she says, noting that as a current resident of the western suburbs and a former resident of the southwestern suburbs, she is well-versed in what both areas have to offer.

Beginning every transaction by creating a road map for her clients to help them visualize and plan out their real estate goals, Michicich sets expectations early. “I want what is best for them and will do everything I can to make that happen,” she says. “I watch the market daily, check data and do my homework so the process is smooth and less stressful — even fun!”

Known for her negotiation skills, Michicich makes deals happen again and again, proving to her clients that she has their backs 100%. With a referral-based business, she earned the title of one of Crain’s Notable Real Estate Agents in 2021, and in 2022, she was one of the faces of BHHS Chicago’s Move Confidently advertising campaign.

Coming from a family with four generations of Realtors, as well as a lender and a real estate attorney, Michicich talks shop at every family gathering, from a casual lunch to a sporting event. To expand her world beyond real estate, she volunteers with Chicago Covenants Project and My Block, My Hood, My City. She also started a group called Group Therapy: Field Trips with Friends. “We explore the city or cool events in the area,” she explains, adding that she loves live music and takes any opportunity she can to learn something new.
