Jill Clark, Real Estate Broker & Principal

Jill Clark Homes, COMPASS Real Estate

Coming from a family of athletes (herself included), Jill Clark applies her competitive spirit to real estate. “I love the quote from Michael Jordan, ‘Find what you love doing, and then find a way to win at it,’” says Clark, an award-winning broker and principal of Jill Clark Homes, COMPASS Real Estate. “I set high goals for myself.”

After spending more than two decades working in fashion and beauty, Clark was searching for an entrepreneurial outlet to build a business. She found it in real estate. Last year, among all Naperville agents, she had one of the highest average sales numbers (over $750,000), ranked in the top 1% by sales performance, and received an award from COMPASS for highest GCI. She loves working with COMPASS, the fastest-growing and No. 1 independent tech real estate company in the country.

Clark specializes in fine and luxury homes in Naperville, her hometown of 29 years, and has mostly listed homes during her 20 years in real estate (though she recently serviced high-net-worth buyers). Her business is done through referrals, and her sellers and buyers appreciate that “Jill takes care of everything.” She has a team of experts, from social media to marketing to transaction coordination, and agents with whom she works daily to ensure a smooth transaction throughout Chicagoland.

An expert at staging and interior design, Clark pays attention to every detail, recommending any work and contractors needed to show the home in its best possible light. “I make the process seamless for clients,” she says. “I am easy to get in touch with, and I follow up quickly.” She markets every listing online with a movie set to music and featuring dramatic drone shots, along with customized brochures and feature cards placed in the property. Music is playing, candles are lit and the property is show-ready.

Clark also does whatever it takes to ensure a smooth closing, paying attention to every detail. She lives by the quote from Chanel, “In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.”
