Carol Anne Bozarth, Loan Originator

Key Mortgage

Prior to her career in real estate, Carol Anne Bozarth spent 25 years in the social work and criminal justice field. Just before starting with Key Mortgage, she ran a consulting business where she helped clients obtain fair prison sentences. After many years of such challenging work, she realized she wanted to help people in a more positive environment. Several friends in the industry encouraged her to take the leap into mortgage lending, which she did just as the pandemic was starting.

Immediately pivoting to accommodate the times, Bozarth built her business through Zoom the first year and capitalized upon downtime. By her second year, she had established a firm network that paved the way for her success. Clients appreciate her white glove service and the care she takes to ensure they understand all the numbers and the best loan option for their unique needs. “What is most important to me is that my client has the best experience getting a mortgage and that I make my agent partner shine,” says Bozarth.

Understanding that discussing finances and credit scores can be stressful, she draws upon her psychology background to help quell any uneasiness. Leading with empathy and encouragement, Bozarth partners with her clients to strategize their path to homeownership. Whether it’s helping them put together a savings plan for their down payment or explaining credit score tactics, she’s always willing to put in the time it takes to help clients achieve their dreams. “The most satisfying part of my job is when clients cross the finish line and have the keys to their home in their hands,” she shares.

Though she achieved President’s club status with her company her first year and leveled up to Founder’s Club status last year, she is most proud when clients thank her agent partners for referring them to her. Bozarth lives in River Forest with her husband and two children, ages 14 and 17. When not working, she enjoys traveling, yoga, spending time with friends and family and watching her kids play volleyball.
