Jessica Jakubowski, Broker

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate

Growing up in Houston, Jessica Jakubowski always dreamed of one day owning her own home. When her family lost their home during the recession of the early 1980s, they moved to New Jersey where her aunt worked as a real estate agent. She always admired her aunt’s success, determination and ability to connect with the community. When the publishing company Jakubowski worked for was bought out, it presented her the opportunity to switch gears and follow her passion into real estate sales. “It was the best career decision I ever made,” she says.

For the past decade, Jakubowski has served residential clients—from first-time to luxury buyers—in Chicago’s southern suburbs. Shares Jakubowski, “I take pride in keeping my service area smaller so that I can provide the best possible service and level of expertise for the market area.” One of her favorite wins is utilizing her area expertise to score off-market properties for clients. With a background in directing customer operations, her skill in cultivating client relationships is extensive. Jakubowski’s business style is professional, low pressure and client centered. She forms many friendships with her largely referral-based clientele as a result of her listening skills and client advocacy.

Understanding that the best way to profile a property is through video, Jakubowski leverages social media to highlight the lifestyle offered by each home and neighborhood. She is most proud to have sold the highest residential listing in Frankfort last year. Her business acumen was recognized by Chicago Agent Magazine with their Rookie of the Year award, and she was the number No. 1 @properties CHRISTIE’s International real estate broker in Frankfort last year.

Jakubowski serves as a board member of the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce and is also a Village of Frankfort Plan Commissioner. She enjoys spending time at her property in Florida during cold Chicago winters. She also loves to cook, dine out in Chicago and root for the White Sox.
