Lauren Roman, Broker

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate

Having worked at a real estate office while in high school, the industry has interested Lauren Roman since that time. After having her first daughter and seeking greater flexibility in her career, she decided to become licensed and is thriving in the field six years later. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and public relations, which instilled firm skills that facilitate the success of her listings and her ability to tap into her network to assist buyers.

“I tell everyone that I want to make sure they don’t have any questions left unanswered. I am responsive and communicate as much as possible. My clients often comment that at the end of a transaction they are no longer just a client, they are a friend,” shares Roman.

She works with a range of residential clientele in Chicago’s south and southwest suburbs as well as northwest Indiana. Roman partners with her clients and educates them using social media and other resources. Ever present and a lover of wine, she regularly drops off a bottle of her favorite after a stressful inspection letter, or brings cupcakes for client’s children’s birthdays or to add a pop of fun to the moving process. She shares, “Anything I can do to help with their everyday life while they are buying and selling, I try to do!”

Her biggest professional accomplishment over the past year was having produced more than $10 million in sales for the second year in a row, even amid the market slow down near the end of 2022. As her mostly referral-based business is booming, Roman is in the process of forming a team to help her continue to provide impeccable service while flourishing.

A current resident of Chicago’s south suburbs, Roman is proud to have achieved a goal of mastering work-life balance. She now enjoys career success while also devoting time for family, friends and serving in the elected position of Village Trustee in Homewood, Illinois.
