The Hebson-Murphy Group at Dream Town Real Estate specializes in new construction and luxury real estate, having sold no fewer than 50 developments during their tenure in the business. Team leaders Colin Hebson and Brendan Murphy, with 32 years of combined experience, are known not only for their real estate expertise but also for their love of the golf course, where they often meet with clients and cultivate new business prospects.
The team is responsible for more than $1 billion in sales, and the Chicago Association of Realtors has recognized Hebson as a Top Producer six times, most recently in 2021 and 2022. He is also consistently a platinum-level top producer for Dream Town.
Of all their transactions, a couple stand out and make the team proud. “We sold a $12 million multiunit building, a transaction that was over one year in the making,” Hebson recalls. “We also put together some incredible land plays for our new-construction developers. It took a lot of time to do it, but in the end, it is always satisfying when a deal like that comes to completion.”
As real estate professionals who work to help individuals and families find the perfect homes, Hebson and Murphy believe in prioritizing family as part of their business practice. “Our team puts family first, business second, and thus we have cultivated an incredible atmosphere,” Hebson observes.
Away from the office, Hebson can be found coaching his kids’ sports teams and volunteering for Camp Out for Kids and his local chapter of Pets Are Worth Saving. Murphy serves on the board of the Andrew Weishar Foundation, a Chicago nonprofit that supports adolescents and young adults fighting cancer.
