Andrew Scheibe, Broker

Main Street Real Estate Group

Never underestimate a man in a flannel shirt. Andrew Scheibe may appear casual at first glance, but with nine years of experience in real estate, he’s skilled at serving everyone from investors to first-time buyers and sellers in both Chicago and the suburbs. He handles single-family homes and condos, as well as multiunit properties for owner occupants and investors alike.

After working in media and construction, Scheibe took his interest in real estate off the back burner and become licensed. His background in construction and renovation uniquely qualifies him to advise clients about remodeling costs. Building relationships with his peers is also instrumental to his success.

Scheibe is known for his honesty and fun, laid-back personality. “I’ll always tell you the truth about a property,” he says. “I’ll never give a client bad advice or info just to make one sale, thus hurting my long-term reputation. Even if it means showing 100 houses, I’d rather do that than have a client have buyer’s remorse.”

More than anything, Scheibe’s dedication separates him from other brokers. “I care deeply about all of my clients and it shows,” he says. “I’ll go above and beyond to help my clients succeed. I’m very accessible and you will never have to work hard to get in touch with me.”

Having a laid-back outlook is good for business, he says. “I think my more casual approach to the process helps too,” Scheibe says. “It’s such a stressful process buying or selling a home, that I think keeping things light can help relieve the stress … Don’t mistake the casual approach as a lack of professionalism or care. I take it very seriously and always come prepared for every showing, listing presentation, meeting. I’ll fight for my clients like crazy and I think they all know how much I have their backs.”

In his spare time, Scheibe is currently working on recording a full-length album. He and his wife work with the Chicago French Bulldog Rescue and also foster Frenchies.
