Now in lending for 23 years, Vince Bartolome began his career working as a marketing manager for high-level accounts. This experience was incredibly valuable, as it was here that he first honed skills in qualifying his clients, in tailoring his offerings to clients’ needs and in building relationships. He made the switch to home lending because he’s now able to help people with one of the most important purchases they will make in their lifetime. “Buyers need the expertise that I can provide,” he declares.
Born in the Philippines, Bartolome, who is bilingual in English and Tagalog, lived there for eight years before coming to the U.S. Living in harder conditions and being surrounded by hardworking people fortified him with the grit to create success. A national home lending advisor with specializations in a plethora of lending products, Bartolome reports that his clients describe him as present and responsive, detailed, easy to work with and education-oriented. “I clearly explain the details, including all the great news and all the possible red flags. This allows the process to be smoother and allows us to get ahead of anything that can cause a delay or issue,” he says. His goal is to ensure that every client is preapproved at the first appointment.
Despite the difficult economic conditions, Bartolome is proud to have found success over the past year. He closed more than 100 loans totaling more than $40 million, and for the past nine years, he’s been recognized as a Chase Home Lending National Achiever. Despite his incredible rate of production, he is most proud of his ability to adapt and help clients in an unprecedented market of rising rates and inflation.
Bartolome works with multiple nonprofits throughout the year, providing gifts for those less fortunate. When away from work, he enjoys time with family, including his wife of 20 years, and raising four children. When not coaching or watching his kids play sports or instruments or do other activities, he’s an active volunteer in his local church and loves to exercise.
