If there is a word that best describes Erin Stojakovic’s business style as vice president of Mortgage Lending for Proper Rate, it is “connector.” Her ability to connect with people, combined with having grown up in a small town, has helped her develop a knack for knowing everyone and embracing a tightknit community atmosphere. “I’m used to knowing everyone,” Stojakovic says. “I enjoy connecting people and making our large suburb feel more like a small town. I am also very hyperlocal in my market and involved in my community of Park Ridge. I enjoy giving back my time and volunteering in the community.”
With more than 22 years of experience in the industry, Stojakovic has expertise in Park Ridge, although she is licensed in multiple states, including Wisconsin, Florida and Michigan. Her specialties include divorce mortgage lending and VA loans, with most of her business coming from referrals. “Most of my referral partnerships and relationships are organic,” she notes. “I work with people who I enjoy working with and have built strong friendships. I like work to be fun and not feel quite so much like work!”
