Bringing a fresh perspective to the real estate industry, Sarah Elpayaa, broker for d’aprile properties, has already made her mark. Growing up in Forest Park, she is an active member of the community, which gives her genuine love and knowledge for the area she serves. “I’m deeply engrained in my community,” she says. “And I believe investing in your neighborhood is most important.”
A people person her whole life, Elpayaa has a history of work in the service industry, which has allowed her to develop excellent customer service skills. “I was in sales for three years, right out of college, and started waitressing at 17,” she says. “I’ve learned how to work collaboratively with a team, in a fast-paced environment, as well as how to remain calm and have empathy when resolving issues.”
“I decided to get my real estate license, because I honestly just love helping people,” she says. “This career is rewarding and I love being a part of my clients’ story.” An effective communicator, Elpayaa is known for going the extra mile for her clients, which helps make an otherwise stressful transition a smooth, peaceful one. “I’m not too sales-ey or pushy, but instead offer an honest and genuine approach,” she says. This effort hasn’t gone unnoticed. She was awarded the Top Producer and Gold Key awards from d’aprile properties in 2021, as well as the Silver Key award in 2020.
Additionally, Elpayaa is a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors and the Chamber of Commerce in Forest Park. When she isn’t breaking new ground in the industry, she volunteers in her neighborhood and for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She loves spending time with her friends and family, taking her dog on adventures, attending music events and traveling the world.
