Ruby Park, Realtor

Coldwell Banker Realty, Glenview

As a Realtor, Ruby Park is thrilled that visiting different buildings and homes is part of the job. “I love driving and being out on the field, meeting new clients and having the opportunity to explore every part of our beautiful city,” says Park, a top producer and President’s Circle award winner with Coldwell Banker Realty in Glenview.

Selling homes gives Park the chance to apply to real estate the patience, customer service and multitasking skills she gained from various jobs throughout her life.

A Glenview resident, Park assists buyers, sellers and renters in the city and northwest suburbs, and recently started a team with her business partner, Gino Viola. During the six and a half years Park has worked in real estate, she has done well but she believes teaming up with Viola will help her service clients even better. “The best year I had was 2021,” she explains. “It was my best year in real estate, I got married, moved to Glenview and had a baby.”

Punctual, a good listener and prompt at returning calls, Park is an expert at guiding clients through the transaction process. “I am extremely patient and make sure my clients are aware of the kind of market we are in and what to expect, whether it’s good or bad,” she says. “There’s no hiding anything in real estate, everything will come to light—which can be a great parallel to life as well.”

Real estate runs in Park’s family. She joined the industry at the urging of her sister, who is also her best friend and a Realtor.

To Park, working in the industry is a privilege, and she credits her parents with instilling her with a determined work ethic. “It’s humbling,” Park says. “It’s great. It’s up and down. It’s happy (offer gets accepted). It’s sad (offer gets outbid). It’s a mix of emotions, a roller coaster ride. But if you have persistence, passion and patience, you will succeed.”
