Nano Engdahl, Real Estate Broker

Baird & Warner

With a background in health care and 20 years of experience working in real estate, Nano Engdahl always approaches her clients with a sense of compassion. She is a real estate broker and residential specialist at Baird & Warner, operating in northern Lake County and eastern McHenry County. She serves clients of all types, including first-time buyers and sellers, retirees, vacation homebuyers, and commercial buyers and sellers.

A native of northern Lake County, Engdahl grew up observing a family friend work in the real estate world, igniting an interest in the industry long before she joined it herself. After attending nursing school and working as a dental assistant, Engdahl decided to pursue her passion for real estate. She brought with her the sense of compassion with which she would always approach patients. “I want my clients to sense I am there to be that shoulder to lean on and a source they can count on to get the answers and the end result they need,” Engdahl says.

A seasoned professional, Engdahl uses a hands-on approach with her clients. “I meet with sellers frequently, several times prior to officially listing a home for sale,” she says. “I take it step-by-step. With buyers, it’s about having a good conversation to learn about them personally and financially and put all the resources before them to help make that process easy and understandable.” Engdahl emphasizes listening in her work: “It’s important to hear clients, not talk at them.”

Engdahl is a member of the National Association of Realtors and Illinois Association of Realtors and is on the Grievance Committee of the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors. She has been recognized by Baird & Warner as a top producer and has received numerous accolades, including earning an EPIC award and repeated Founders Club membership.

Engdahl cares deeply for her local community. She serves as a board member for the Grayslake Heritage Foundation, supports and volunteers for the nonprofit PADS of Lake County, along with being an active member of her local Chamber of Commerce.
