Real estate is in Matthew Neistat’s blood. He comes from a long line of real estate developers and investors.
Neistat, a real estate broker with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, continues his family’s legacy by honoring the values his elder’s taught him. Living up to his grandfather’s motto, “Always put people first” and heeding his father’s and uncle’s regular reminders to “emphasize reputation above all else” has led Neistat to rank among the CAR’s Top 10% Producers.
Neistat credits his success to listening to the wants and needs of his clients. He believes it’s a philosophy that resulted in him leading the charge in listing his $10 million West Loop deconversion.
“I don’t believe in burning bridges,” he says. “The ripple effect of human connection is too valuable.”
Whether a client is looking for or listing a single-family home, condo, multi-unit property, or land development, Neistat is committed to working for them. Even after he closes a deal, clients know they can call him for recommendations or referrals or simply to catch up. He’s not in this business just for the commission or the deal; he works as hard as he does to make even the toughest dreams a reality.
Neistat puts education, preparedness, and transparency at the crux of each client experience. An advocate, guide and partner to every buyer and seller he represents, he builds lasting relationships that go beyond the closing table.
“It’s about building a long-term, solid connection with another human being,” explains Neistat.
At the core of it all, he is looking to bring the human element back to real estate. His mission is to help clients build the life they dream of by accomplishing the goals necessary to make it happen.
Nothing great can be accomplished alone, insists Neistat. “I wouldn’t be where I am without the support of my wife and the love of my son. They’re my heart.”
