Naperville resident Lori Johanneson has lived in the Chicagoland suburbs for the past 24 years and spent her first year in the business becoming familiar with the communities she now serves. Now entering her 20th year in real estate, Johanneson has continued to grow and learn in order to impact her community in a positive way.

Prior to her career in real estate and while earning her MBA, Johanneson worked at an HR consulting firm as a business analyst responsible for ensuring system performance. “Understanding the importance of customer service and selling a product that operates as it should was a great experience,” she says. She carries these skills in her real estate career by continually going above and beyond to help her clients achieve their goals.

2021 was the best year of Johanneson’s career, marking her first full year as a team leader. She was No. 1 in her office and successfully closed 85 homes, totaling $38 million in sales. She was also recognized as Crain’s 2022 Notable Real Estate Broker. “I built a team and put in the work to really build a business that reflects my core values of integrity and hard work, which has set us up for success in 2022,” she says.

Johanneson’s team consists of herself, a transaction coordinator, a marketing specialist, a dedicated buyer’s specialist and a client care coordinator. Her teammates allow her to leverage everyone’s skills to keep the business running smoothly and provide the best possible service to her clients. She says the ability to delegate work to her team allows her to stay available for anything her clients may need during the sale or purchase process.

In addition to her success in real estate, Johanneson is proud to share that she completed her first full Ironman in 2021 — a 2.4-mile swim, 116-mile bike ride and 26.2-mile run.
