Lisa Rome, Real Estate Agent

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago, Glenview

It’s been a tremendous rise for Lisa Rome, who has become one of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago’s premier real estate agents serving Chicago’s northern suburbs.

“I have always loved real estate; I am fascinated by market trends and being a part of peoples’ journeys,” she says. “It’s an incredible honor to be part of it.” Rome, who grew up in the northern suburbs and has lived in Northbrook for the last 14 years with her husband and two children, says her deep understanding of the area serves as a concrete foundation for her real estate business.

Her successful background as a fine artist and graphic designer gives her a unique perspective to help clients find the right home. “It allows me to visualize the potential in any property,” she says. “I love being able to help my clients realize the possibilities.”

The past couple years have created a challenging landscape in real estate with the pandemic, inventory shortages, changes in environment and shifting priorities. Lisa has tapped into the business’s resources, as well her own creative strategies to generate opportunities that have led to her clients’ success. Lisa remains determined through the obstacles, and resonates with the following quote by former soccer star Pele:  “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”

In addition to top-of-the-line service, Rome attributes her accomplishments to a strong social media and marketing presence. “My cutting-edge marketing and communication style, as well as passion for what I do and ambition to yield the best results for everyone has led to tremendous client appreciation and triumph,” she notes. “I try to make the process as stress-free as possible and give each client the time and attention they deserve.”

When she takes a break from working, Rome is a huge cheerleader for her husband and her two children, who will be a senior and freshman at Glenbrook North High School in the fall. She loves tackling do-it-yourself projects and spending time in the sun with her golden retriever, Oakley.
