Her father an industry veteran for more than 40 years, it’s fitting that Jo Ann Theriault-Fazio has excelled in mortgage lending for more than two decades. She prides herself and her team on their collaborative prowess and ability to pivot. “The longer I am in this industry, the easier I can adapt to changing markets, ways in which we need to conduct business, and my ability to help others within my organization,” she says.
Running her company’s North Shore, Tampa and Dallas branches and licensed in 18 states, Theriault-Fazio describes her style as organized with a penchant for prioritization. She notes a willingness to lean into new technology as pivotal to her productivity. Her accolades include being named a Scotsman Guide Top Originator as well as being named among their Top Women Originators, recognition as a Top Producer with both Mortgage Executive Magazine and National Mortgage News, in addition to making the President’s Club and Chairman’s Circle with Proper Rate.
Among her greatest honors was being recognized as the inaugural recipient of Proper Rate’s Leadership Award. She now serves as the award’s namesake and selects each new annual recipient. “It is a great honor when your colleagues recognize your hard work and dedication,” she says.
She and her family work with multiple local school and charitable organizations, including sponsoring and supporting the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation in its fight against childhood cancer.
