Jennifer Sjoblom, Realtor, Broker

Baird & Warner, Frankfort

Explaining the real estate process in terms easily understood by all clients takes excellent communication skills, which Jennifer Sjoblom has in abundance. “Being able to communicate is huge in this industry, as we need to relate to all different personality types in negotiations,” she explains. “It is also key in follow-up because for many people, the whole process can be stressful, confusing and complex.” After 15 years in the hospitality industry, Sjoblom moved into real estate full-time where she continues to help people while also creating a life by design. “It seems that work is my hobby,” she shares, “but like Mark Twain said, ‘Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.’”

A Realtor with Baird & Warner, Frankfort, Sjoblom recently received her managing broker’s license after 11 years in the business. “This has been a goal of mine for a long time,” she shares. “I enjoy learning and am always looking for ways to improve and grow professionally.” Sjoblom hasn’t moved from sales into a managing broker role yet and instead continues to serve her broad base of clients. A lifetime resident of the Homewood-Flossmoor area, she covers a large territory in the south and southwest suburbs.

Sjoblom is a member of Illinois REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS® and chairs the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors’ government affairs committee south. She is currently working with the Village of Homewood to complete a Placemaking Grant for a permanent parklet for the community to enjoy. She was also president and served on the ambassador and membership committees of the Homewood Area Chamber of Commerce. A consistent top producing agent, she was named to Baird & Warner’s President’s Club in 2020 and Chairman’s Club in 2021.

Sjoblom recently started a program called Giving Back with Gratitude, in which she makes a donation to a local animal shelter after every successful transaction.
