With 34 years of experience, Bob Dickinson, senior vice president of sales at Greater Illinois Title Company, is a titan of industry and expert in all areas of real estate. His experience in the Chicago area has lasted a lifetime. “I’ve been living in the metro area all my life and that’s how I learned the market; constantly reading, investigating, communicating and networking with everyone helped me immensely,” he says.

With a background as a musician, Dickinson has always been adept at meeting new people and keeping cool. “Standing in front of strangers and friends performing music was a great start,” he says.  “Additionally, my first job was selling shoes in a retail environment, which again helped build my confidence.”

Dickinson earns all his business through referrals, past clients and networking, thanks to his fun and focused engagement style. He has also earned many professional awards over the years. He closed over $200 million in deals in 2021, was recognized as both a quarterly and yearly top producer by Greater Illinois Title and was named Recruiter of the Year by the Home Builders Associations of Greater Chicago. He is also a proud member of the Southside Builders Association, the Real Estate Investors Association, the Neighborhood Builders Ordinance Alliance and the Chicago Association of Realtors.

When he isn’t closing record-breaking deals in Chicago, Dickinson focuses on philanthropy and having fun. He goes on yearly trips with Samaritan’s Purse, an international crisis relief and development charity focused on the physical needs of those across the world. He’s an avid trumpet player, but also takes time to enjoy racquetball, pickleball and landscaping.
