Kendra Green’s passion for real estate started in her younger years when she visited open houses with her grandmother. Her parents built their house from the ground up, and this memory is what shaped her passion for new construction and renovations. “I love everything about new construction or a good remodel,” says Green, a broker associate with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty.

Experience making decisions throughout the life of the project gives Green a competitive edge. “Getting involved early in the process allows me to assist developers in maximizing the return on their investment,” she remarks. Having this knowledge and experience on the development side, Green knows exactly what to look for in resale properties, guiding her clients as they navigate the buying or selling process. She works closely on several new developments while maintaining buyer and seller clients in Chicagoland.

Green and a colleague are working on several developments in the city and should have some new-construction listings in the near future. She had a record year amid the global pandemic and welcoming her first child. She’s continuing that stride for 2021 as a new mom and business owner. The bulk of her business is new construction and first-time buyers. “I love the holding-hand side of the business,” shares Green, “and I feel I get to really walk my clients through all the ins and outs of real estate, especially those buying new construction or those buying their first ever home.”

Green has taken the year in stride, welcoming her baby girl in July 2020 and planting permanent roots in Chicago shortly after. She and her husband are excited to introduce their little one to all things Chicago and real estate, and they can’t wait to meet their new neighbors this summer. In her free time, Green chips away at her own remodel, daydreams about home organization and spends time with her family with visits to Margie’s Candies or Scooter’s Frozen Custard.
